Squid with Lime and Chilli Dressing

For this recipe, we've tried several different spices and it has always turned out great.

We also recommend cooking it on a wok, as it cooks incredibly fast and is so delicious!


400g quid- cut in rings

1 teaspoon of Chinese 5 spice

½ teaspoon of freshly ground cracked black pepper

4 tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce

Juice and zest of 2 limes

Handful of fresh coriander- roughly chopped

2 teaspoons of oil


Place Squid in a plastic bag with the spice and black pepper. Shake well to coat

Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok until very hot

Add squid and cook quickly approx 30-40 secs

Remove pan from the heat. Add sweet chilli sauce, lime juice, zest and coriander. Mix together with a spoon or toss quickly to coat the squid in the dressing.

Place squid on heated plates and drizzle with any remaining dressing from the pan. Sprinkle with chopped coriander.


Serve with Noodles!
